The Digital World of the German Archaeological Institute
The challenge
The German Archaeological Institute has long been working not only on the digitisation of its archives and libraries, but has also developed its own complex systems that make this data available to the scientific community. These evolved systems had to be connected in a portal and made accessible to the general public.

These evolved systems had to be connected in a portal and made accessible to the general public.
The solution
For this task the first thing to do was to analyse the different perspectives on the iDAI world and to take the components of this world apart. This process took place in close cooperation with the DAI and LMK. The resulting values were used as the basis for the corporate design and the conception of the web portal. The integration of all existing iDAI Systems, teaching staff, consulting the programming process and focusing on further developments, required a responsible teamwork and strong visions.
