Icons in Archaeology

This family of pictograms was developed in order to differentiate more clearly the complex digital services offered by the German Archaeological Institute. Each of the 10 pictograms visualize one of the extensive areas within the archaeological data cycle, beginning from the excavation, through the scientific identification and archiving, to the renewed availability.
